Our story
BaliBreeze was founded in 2020 by Chloé, a French designer with a lifelong dream: to create the perfect swimsuit—functional, sun-protective, eco-conscious, and beautiful.
For years, I searched for swimwear that felt right. There was always something missing—or too much of something. I wanted pieces that supported an active lifestyle in the ocean, but that also aligned with my values. Nothing felt quite like me.
I first visited Bali ten years ago and instantly fell in love—with the land, the waves, and the warmth of the people. Five years later, during the pandemic, I had to leave my job as a wedding planner. I decided to take that as a sign: it was time to follow my dream. I saved every cent I could and began building Bali Breeze—swimwear made from recycled fishing nets, designed for women who love the sea, style, and sustainability.
My vision was clear: slow fashion, small collections—only 15 pieces at a time—drawn by hand, created with care. I wanted every woman to feel like her swimsuit was as unique as she is. That’s why I design in limited runs, constantly sketching new styles and ideas.
BaliBreeze was born on Reunion Island, where I poured all my savings and heart into the brand. I started selling on the beach, then at local markets, and finally found a few retailers who believed in the vision. In 2025, I moved to Lombok, Indonesia, to take the next step—to be closer to the ocean, the artisans, and the inspiration.
At BaliBreeze, we believe swimwear should make you feel powerful, comfortable, and beautiful—whatever your shape, your story, or your wave.
